A lithograph from Britton and Rey on Montgomery and Commercial Streets, across from the US Mint, this locally produced and sold image would have been sent via mail to family and business associates to show the city . Lettersheets are inherently rare and this one has been conserved professionally to assure a long life by rice paper backing applied. Very good to fine condition despite some visual blemishes.
