Ruth taylor is an important graphic artist and commercial illustrator, author and historian from San Francisco and making her living here, while working for a great number of outfits, like Dole Pineapple and the Hawai'i Tourist Board in 1934 and The Golden Gate International Exposition in 1938 and the San Mateo chamber of Commerce, as in this case in 1939. At this time sh occupied the top floor , #18, of the Central tower of Newspaper Square at Third and Market St's.
